PleaseReview 7.2.1 release - What's new

29 September 2022

It's official: the latest version of Ideagen's PleaseReview has dropped.

Introducing brand-new features!

  • Simplify your view for greater clarity. Prior to the upgrade, all comments were displayed on the right-hand side. Now, to make things simpler, you can quickly expand and collapse all comments in a review.
  • End-to-end authentication. PleaseReview already offers in-browser certification using single sign-on (SSO). With the upgrade, you can now ensure that your whole team's document review journey is certified, authenticated and secure. With the 2-way SSL client certification, your team is authenticated when working on a document review in-browser, in offline client mode, and when uploading documents back into PleaseReview via the MS Word plugin.

Enhanced security

  • Node.js update. Node.js has been upgraded to version 16.16.0 to protect users from potential vulnerabilities.
  • Cross-site scripting vulnerability on the client side. PleaseReview has already prevented malicious injections at the server site in the past. PleaseReview 7.2.1 extends the protection to the client side (Reset Password page).
  • Moment.js version. Moment.js has been upgraded to version 2.29.4 to protect users from potential vulnerabilities.
