Interface enhancements with v6.1

PleaseReview v6.1 introduces interface enhancements and a new review SubTeam workflow.

PleaseReview 6.1 provides the following enhancements:

 

  1. The review interface for both Microsoft Word and PDF documents now includes:
  • The ability to collapse and expand comments;
  • A review countdown timer and the 'linked review' icon is displayed on the toolbar;
  • Authors now have the option to Accept and Close all proposed changes with one click;
  • Previous comment category selection is pre-selected;
  • Participants are prompted if there is more than one document in a review.

 

  1. The review interface for Microsoft Word documents now includes:
  • Improved alignment of comments next to paragraphs;
  • The inclusion of the 'compare documents' icon on the toolbar;
  • Improved handling of white space within documents, i.e. all white space is preserved and reflected in the review, so any tables which are space delimited appear as expected in the review.

 

  1. The new review interface for PDF documents now includes:
  • The ability to categorize redactions based on pre-configured requirements. This includes a preconfigured template to easily redact PDF documents based on EMA Policy 70 requirements;
  • The ability to search the text of a PDF;
  • Participants are able to select whether to show or hide annotations;
  • The ability for participants to import PDF annotations. This allows for the review of the PDF outside of PleaseReview if required.

 

  1. A new review SubTeam workflow is available.
  • A SubTeam is a group of reviewers who can see each others’ comments and changes but cannot see those comments and changes made by participants outside their SubTeam.
