Coruson Mobile App Beta Test Update

22 April 2020

In March, we announced that we were adding Audit functionality to the new Coruson Reporting mobile app. The beta test is now open and we’re excited to invite you to take part.

What can I do with the beta version?

You can’t do everything that you can with the existing Coruson Documents and Audits mobile app (yet), but you can:

  • link to your tenant
  • carry out audits
  • sync
  • download for offline working
  • upload audits

How do I take part?

I’m using iOS

If you’re using the Coruson Reporting app on an iOS device, here’s what you need to do:

  1. Download and install TestFlight from the Apple Store:

https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/testflight/id899247664

TestFlight is an Apple test app and you’ll need it to take part in the beta test.

  1. Sign in to TestFlight using your Apple ID.
  2. Visit https://testflight.apple.com/join/HJCmp579

You can find more information about beta testing on iOS, including how to download the TestFlight app, the information that Apple and Ideagen collects, and how to opt out at https://testflight.apple.com/.

I’m using Android

If you’re using the Coruson Reporting app on an Android device, here’s what you need to do:

  1. Visit https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.ideagen.coruson and click Become a Tester
  2. Alternatively, you can visit the Play Store at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ideagen.coruson&hl=en-GB&ah=JkDIcDBaTrytNGXY92WWdsh9_sE and click Join the Beta
  3. If you’ve already installed the Coruson Reporting app on your device, you’ll get the beta version as an update. Just to let you know, it can take up to a couple of hours for you to get the update.
  4. If you haven’t already installed the Coruson Reporting app on your device, download the beta version from the Play Store:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ideagen.coruson&hl=en-GB&ah=JkDIcDBaTrytNGXY92WWdsh9_sE

The beta version is titled Coruson Reporting, but it’ll have the new Audit functionality. The beta version will also replace any previous versions of the Coruson Reporting app that you’ve installed.

Your usage of the beta version is covered by Google’s standard Privacy Policy and you can find more information at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

I’m using Windows

Unfortunately, if you’re using the Coruson Reporting app on a Windows device, at the moment the Microsoft Store doesn’t let us offer a beta version in the same way as the Apple App and Google Play Stores do.

We’re currently looking at an alternative way in which we can offer beta versions for this and for future releases to Windows users and will let you know in an upcoming communication.
