The Ideagen Customer Council was formed back in 2017 with the view of being Ideagen product experts as well as leaders within the industries in which the customers worked in. Even now this is still true however, the council came to Ideagen as they thought they could be so much more.
In 2019 the Customer Council decided that as a group they wanted to have a strategy; a driving force for what they do with Ideagen to provide benefit for everyone. The council approached Ideagen and suggested working together to create a more formal approach and how together we can drive the group forward.
Fast forward to September 2019 when we have our first strategy day meeting in the Ideagen office in Leeds, England. We got together in Leeds to discuss our thoughts on what the Customer Council could do to make a difference and agree an approach.
Both the Customer Council and Ideagen agreed that we needed a vision; a vision for firstly the group as a whole but secondly for the sort of projects the council could get involved in and make an impact on. We worked on creating a value proposition for the Customer Council to provide clarity on why the group exists and how they can provide value to the other customers. We planned for the future of the group by creating a 5-year vision then took that vision to create a realistic 12-month roadmap.
We took the outputs of that meeting and created the Customer Council strategy which can be viewed here. We will continue to work with the Customer Council to ensure the efficient execution of their plan to bring value to all customers.

As Customer Communications Executive, Lynsey is responsible for constructing and delivering key Ideagen messages to you, our customers. Working within the Customer Marketing team Lynsey coordinates with various stakeholders to ensure we deliver the right message to you every time. In the evenings and weekends you will find Lynsey taking part in something CrossFit related, we have nicknamed her the CrossFit Queen.
